3 4 classical guitarHohner HC03 3 4 classical guitar is handcrafted with a top (spruce) and back and sides (mahogany). The particular wood combination produces a sharp texture to the total sound of the guitar. The light satin finish allows the guitar to vibrate and present much better than a guitar that is highly glossed. A truss rod constructed into the guitar’s neck helps keep the instrument in a good playable condition for a long time.

This particular 3 4 classical guitar also comes with light gauge strings that are made of nylon for less complicated strumming in order to not dissuade a beginner player.

Got it in the lightening deal for my 9 years old son. Both he and I like it. The guitar was not tuned when we receive it, but it’s pretty easy for us to tune it since we have an electronic tuner. It sounded pretty good after I tuned it. If you are a beginner like me, you might want to get a book to learn how to tune it. The upper (thinner) three strings are nylon, the bottom (thicker) three are metal. I am very happy with the price, this would be a good starter for the next 2 or 3 years. Read more reviews >>

Overall: 9 Smells like teen spirit. Sound is great. I love this guitar, even though I’ve never played it. The only draw back is that it smells like a mix between chewing gum and shoe pollish. Oh well. Maybe your’s will come with a fresh pine smell. More reviews here >>
